I found a restaurant with a nice atmosphere on the first floor of a relatively new hotel behind the construction site of the new city hall main building.
Since it was lunch time, the restaurant was almost full.
To the staff trying to guide me to my seat
“Is it okay if I stay here?”
On the right side of the passage leading to the hall behind which the audience seats were lined up, there was a spacious feeling with glass walls,
There are rows of low tables.
The friendly staff brings the cafe menu in addition to the lunch menu
“Recommended for set menu”
”Homemade gateau chocolate vanilla ice cream set”
(I believe it is 650 yen)

“That means that even if it was delicious, you wouldn’t know if it would be there at that time even if you came back to eat it, right?”
So let’s order.
There were two good things about this gateau chocolat.
One is that plenty of cacao is used, and the other is that a whole dried fruit fig is included.
And there is plenty of vanilla ice cream and it matches the bitterness of cacao moderately.
Two weeks later, I was thinking of going back to eat, and when I looked at the web menu, it was “baked cheesecake”.
